| Description |
The objective of the assignment is to assist the Government in
improving the targeting and administration of benefits currently
available to the disabled. The assignment will also present options
to improve the control of access to disability benefits on the basis
of international best practice and advise the Government on incentive
mechanisms encouraging the employment of the disabled. It is expected
that the output of the assignment to be used by the Government in
formulating a disability reform program which may be assisted by
the World Bank both through the proposed PAL3 and a potential investment
operation.
